I've attempted an update of the Ladies squad ahead of the new summer league campaign.
Albeit my info's the result of googling Celtic and Scotland squads and might well be dodgy.
Granted the women's game is not everyone's cup of tea, but as Celts we should be setting an example in this regard. And if any of KDS's ghirl contingent has additional info then please get involved and help us out.

What a great and early piece of Celtic History the Tea-set makes and it can be viewed in the museum at Hampden, i often wonder why it was not donated to Celtic Park, could it be that they would not have displayed it or did the family want it to be part of Scottish Footballs History rather than Celtic?

The pics show a St Andrews Celtic Brake Club Banner with a pic of Charlie Shaw and Andy McAtee.
Charlie Shaw a Goalkeeper was born in Twechar and moved from QPR to Celtic in May 1913, in his first full season he only conceded 14 goals in 38 league games, a record that i dont think will be broken, he played 492 games for Celtic which is another record he holds for a goalkeeper He had won six league titles 1914-1917, 1919 and 1922 and two Scottish Cups 1914 and 1923.
He owned a Tobacconist at Bridgeton Cross and went on loan to Clyde and remained at Shawfield until the end of the season 1924-25,
In the summer of 1925 aged 40 he went as player manager to New Bedford Whalers, the USA"s leading Soccer Team, he took a few Celtic players with him and funnily enough one of them was Andy McAtee whose on the reverse of the Brake Club Banner,
Amazingly he was never capped for Scotland although he did play for the Scottish League twice, his record of Appearances for Celtic is a tribute to his ability and consistency over a 12 yr period.
A true Celtic Great & Brilliant Goalie who Sadly died in New York from pneumonia in March 1938.
Andy McAtee was born in Cumbernald in the year 1888, he made his debut against Partick Thistle in the year 1910 and went onto form a brilliant almost telepathic right wing partnership with the Great Patsy Gallagher, the strong winger made over 300 League Appearances with the Club.
During World War One he worked in the mines before spending the last year of the conflict in uniform, he retired in 1925 after scoring close on 80 goals in over 450 games for Celtic and in that year he moved to the USA where he played for the New Bedford FC.
Another Celtic Great who dedicated 14 years of his life to the wearing of the Hoops.

Closest he came was playing (ironically) in a testimonial game against Forfaar in November 1978. Side was:
Baines, McGrain, Sneddon, Casey, Collins, Dowie, Doyle, Weir, Kevin Bremner, McCluskey, McPhee
Gerry Collins and Kevin Bremner were trialists for Celtic.

acc to the text, Lennox won 4 league cups, but during his career at Celtic, Celtic won around 5-6 league cups.
so is it correct that Lennox only got 4 medals from this? doesn't sound right...
acc to the synopsis of his biog he won 5, acc to the official celtic site he won 4

It also seems to get complicated by the fact that in later years some medals have been issued retrospectively. For example, I believe that Joe McBride has been awarded a European Cup winning medal in recognition of his contribution as part of the team in the early part of the tournament. So even if an unused sub wasn't given a medal at the time, it's possible that one was awarded at a later date.

He was quite old when he joined Celtic as a coach in 1948, after being born in 1882.. His playing career was restricted to England and lasted from 1902-1913. He then embarked on an incredible managing and coaching career, mostly on mainland Europe but also spells as Aston Villa and Fulham manager. He is widely credited with being responsible for the development of football in Hungary which led to the famous drubbing of the English at Wembley by 6-3 in 1953.
It was an imaginative move by Celtic to secure someone of his reputation but it seems that a number of established players at the club at the time thwarted his attempts to introduce new coaching/ training methods from which they would have ultimately benefitted.
