Biog

Outside-right James Young played one game as a Celt while on loan from Lochgelly United.

He had a steady match against Hearts at Parkhead as the Bhoys ran out 3-0 victors on February 9th 1918. However Celtic were unwilling to meet Lochgelly’s £250 asking price for the player and Young signed for Rangers where he failed to live up to the expectations his performances as a junior player had established.
