Kirkcaldy-born goalkeeper David Robertson made two appearances for the Bhoys when his fellow Fifer John Thomson was on international duty.
Robertson signed for the Bhoys from Rosslyn Juniors in October 1930 and made his debut in a 3-3 league draw at Motherwell on October 25th. It was clear that Robertson would never be able to dislodge the magnificent Thomson and so he joined Cowdenbeath in June 1931.
