Manchester United provided the opposition for the Bhoys in the testimonial for Hoops legend Paul McStay on Tuesday December 12th 1995.

It was a sign of how highly McStay was regarded in the game that Sir Alex Ferguson abandonded his usual 'no testimonials' policy to take his United side to Parkhead for the occasion. On a foggy and cold evening Celtic wouild take the honours with a 3-1 victory.
