McAtee, Anthony
The nephew of the legendary Celt Andy McAtee, Anthony was a Maryhill Harp player who joined the Bhoys in August 1942.
A miner by trade, Tony was a robust outside left who also had an eye for goal. His Celtic debut came in a 2-2 Regional League draw at home to Hamilton on August 22nd 1942. He went on to make four Celtic first team appearances and scored one goal before being freed by the club in May 1943.
