Centre-forward Archibald Longmuir was signed by Celtic in May 1920 from his hometown side Ardrossan Winton Rovers.
He scored twice on his debut as Celtic defeated Raith Rovers in a league encounter at Celtic Park on November 27th.
A hard working forward Longmuir saw opportunities at Celtic Park restricted due to the talent of Tommy McInally and Jimmy McGrory and so eventually departed after 10 appearances and 6 goals to Blackburn Rovers in November 1921.
