For shortcut directions:
- Get off at Tottenham Court Road tube station and head south towards Leicester Square (or do it the other way around and get off at Leicester Square tube station and head north for Tottehnam Court Road tube station).
- When you get to Charing Cross Road (e.g. where the big Spamalot Theatre, Pizza Hut and All Bar One pub are) the Marquis pub will be just there on one of those corners.
Review
A great pub, takes over from the Lyric after that classic little Soho pub had to close down. All the main regulars moved to the Marquis of Granby pub. and the numbers have actually gone way up. Noisiest/busiest during European nights, but has a good regular number for Celtic league games. Landlord is a good bloke, and doesn't allow neds in the place! Only down point is that sadly due to its central location, you can get crowds of non-Celts in there during games, bad only as it can dilute the atmosphere but nothing much more. Celtic games take precedent above all else so you're always guaranteed to watch the game if its on Setanta/Sky or normal tele.
A great Central place to watch the game (and hopefully they will get round to changing the decor sometime).

Directions:
Get out of Euston and go round the corner (heading north towards Camden) and cross the road, and you should start passing some dodgey wee adult shops. Look for Phoenix Road turn there and you can’t miss the pub.
Review
Not located in the nicest part of town that’s for sure. The pub is split in two, with the main half for the locals and the other half for Celtic stuff when the games are on. Good big screens help things, but the pub is a bit grim to be honest (even though it does look better on the outside). Nevertheless, it’s possibly the busiest of the Celtic pubs in London from what I’ve seen and the crowd seem okay. Most people who have been here for games speak highly of the atmosphere. Does free little sandwiches at half time during the games. There's also the highlight of the random screaming woman who turns up to the games AKA the Banshee.

Directions
From Kennington Tube Station: Cross the main road, turn left and you'll soon find it (2mins away), or easier when you exit the tube station just ask someone where Oval tube is and walk along that main road south and you will pass by the pub.
From Oval: Walk up Kennington Park Road for 3-4 minutes and you'll find it, straight walk up.
Review
Pub is in between Oval and Kennington tube stations (2-3 mins walk from each) along the main road.
With the Hoops bar closed, regulars have moved here and the landlord will be playing all the Celtic games. Note though that unlike the Hoops bar, the landlord will not tolerate certain "traditional" tunes, and no neds will be allowed to stay. It is a genuine gem of a pub, and the general regulars there are a good bunch. Started with the Celtic games in 2005-06, and there has been a good atmosphere and the craick is good. Quite packed for games, and there is a good variety of Celtic fans there (Scottish, Irish and English!).
Landlord (a great Irish bloke) says it has been brilliant on the Champs Lge Nights. You can't go too wrong with this place IMO for a game or even just for a good drink with your mates.

Not a Celtic pub but a Scottish pub home to the Aberdeen Supporters Club in London. Packed for Aberdeen games on the tele from what i've been told, but should also show Celtic games and the rest. A ban on Rangers games though unless Aberdeen playing them (or Celtic possibly for Old Firm games).
Packed out for any Scotland international games (rugby and football), so if you want to go somewhere different then you can give this a try!
