Lavery, Dan
Dan Lavery came to Celtic in January 1948 as a Gaelic footballer from Antrim GAA.
He made his debut at centre forward in a 4-2 league defeat at Hibernian on April 3rd. However he struggled to establish himself in his newly chosen game and after just three further appearances Lavery returned to the north of Ireland and was loaned to Glentoran before joining Ballymena United in 1949.
