King, John
Defender John King signed for Celtic in May 1895 from Dykehead.
He made his debut in the Glasgow Cup as Celtic defeated Partick Thistle 5-1 on November 11th at Parkhead. He made a total of 10 appearances for the Bhoys but his Celtic career was ended by a poor performance in the infamous Scottish Cup defeat to minnows Arthurlie in January 1897.
Shotts-born King joined East Stirling in May 1897.
