Defender Francis Kelly was signed from Renton BG in February 1943 and made his debut ina 0-0 Regional League draw at Queen of the South on January 2nd 1946.

Capable of playing centre-half or at full back Kelly was released by the club in April 1947 after just two senior appearances.
