Jeffrey, Robert
Ayr-born outside-left Robert 'Bobby' Jeffrey was signed by Celtic in October 1961 from Coltness United.
He made his debut on November 11th 1962 in a 1-0 league defeat at home to Queen of the South. Hampered by a lack of real pace Jeffrey was a tidy but ultimately limited player. The Scotland Under 23 international played eight times for Celtic and scored one goal. He moved to Airdrie in October 1963.
