Jarvis, Henry
Henry Jarvis – better known as George Jarvis – was a hardworking wing-half who signed for Celtic from Cambuslang Rangers in November 1912.
Jarvis made his Hoops debut in a 2-1 home league defeat to Motherwell on November 23rd after being drafted into the side following an injury to Jim Young.
He remained Young’s under-study during his time at Celtic Park. He made 7 competitive appearances for the Bhoys and after a string of loan spells at various clubs he eventually joined Stoke City in 1919.
