Garry, Edward
| Forum | G | A-Z of Players | Player Pics |
Born in Renton, Dunbartonshire Edward Garry was a forward who signed for Celtic in January 1905 from Galston.
After being briefly loaned to Ayr United he made his Celtic debut in a 1-0 home league win over Hearts on April 21st 1906. However with Celtic boasting the attacking prowess of Bennett, Quinn, McMenemy, Hamilton and Somers it was always going to be very difficult for Garry to force himself into first team contention.
Consequently he made just six appeances for Celtic and scored a solitary goal. He moved on to Derby County in May 1907 and would later convert into a more defensive player.
