An outside-right Thomas Fitzsimmons was one of several players tried out by the club in the wake of Neil McCallum’s departure.

The Annbank man played as a trialist in the 2-2 league draw with Rangers at Ibrox on September 24 1892. Fitzsimmons moved to Newton Heath in November that year after never making another appearance for the Bhoys.
