Cowan, Joseph
A prolific scorer at junior level Joe Cowan was signed by Celtic in September 1929 from Wellesley Juniors.
His solitary first team appearance for the Bhoys came in a 1-1 league draw at Aberdeen on January 24th 1931 when he netted a debut goal. Despite his pace and eye for goal Cowan failed to force himself into first team contention and returned to Fife in July 1931 when he joined Raith Rovers.
