The Who played a concert at Celtic Park in 1976 as part of a stadium tour, other venues were Charton Athletic , which was shown live on T.V. Other acts on the bill included Alex Harvey Band, Streetwalkers, the outlaws and Little Feat. The stage was in the main stand and the crowd just stood on the playing field. Concert started about 2 o'clock leading up to the who coming on at 8. The Who were not at their best but it was worth it just to stand on the park especialy when the lights came on.
