Cathkin Park was the home of the now defunct Third Lanark who sadly ceased as a football club in 1967 after several years of mismanagemnet saw the club go from a genuine force in the Scottish game to extinction.
The ground - which played host to Celtic on many occasions - is now owned by Glasgow City Council and falls within a public park located close to Hampden.
