] (and in his last game for Hibs, ironically against us just 3 days after signing for us in the summer to come, he scores a peach of a header against us!). During the transfer saga, football commentator/analyst (sic!) Derek Johnston e (and ex-hun player) claimed that Scott Brown was definitely going to Rangers, and to show his confidence in his statement he said that he'd resign from his cushy job on Radio Clyde One if it didn't happen. It didn't, and he never resigned. In all fairness, he is a bit a jokey character and probably took in the Ibrox spin, and he also took the ribbing well enough on the radio phone-ins he fronts.

Quotes
But what of the done deal at Rangers that was alleged by various radio stations?
