Celtic Slang - Bhoys
'Bhoys' was more of a self description common among Irish emigrants.Found in NY at that time and previously used by Hibs fans.Promotional stuff on Celtic from the earliest days refer to 'the bould bhoys'..The extra letters are an attempt to capture the Irish accent, signifying their sense of their own seperateness as well probably.
