Corporal Angus - Celtic player who won the VC . Did not play for first team but did play for second team. Here he is arriving home at Carluke Railway Station






Willie Angus - accompanied by Willie Maley and James Kelly - is given a rousing reception by the Parkhead crowd when he attends a Glasgow Cup tie in September 1915.
The VC winner suffered 40 wounds, including the loss of an eye, when he went out into No Mans Land to try and rescue a wounded companion.
