Quick Review
The world is a far better place to be in now, with Celtic having won two games against the Huns in a row, although admittedly not comfortably. On this occasion though we shot ourselves in the foot, coming from behind having led early on with a Scott McDonald goal. Defence was woeful which led to copycat goals from corners for the Huns, but we fought back with Scott McDonald bagging a second wonder goal before earning us a penaly which Robson put away. Not long till the end of the season, but the ball is still in Rangers court for the league title.

Trivia
  • Walter Smith's first time in 40 Celtic v Rangers games in which he has suffered back to back losses.
  • First game since 1993 where we have gone onto win after coming from behind in an Old Firm game!
  • McDonald's first double against the Huns.
  • Artur Boruc put on a t-shirt to wind up the Huns which had a picture of the Pope and said "God bless the pope"
    • After the game the Poland international, nicknamed the 'Holy Goalie' by the Celtic fans, took his goalkeeping shirt off to show the t-shirt with a picture of the Pope and accompanying slogan.
But Strachan joked: "He's not a bad lad, to be fair (the Pope).
"If it was 'God bless Myra Hindley', I might have a problem."

  • Celtic go 5pts in front, but Huns have 3 games in hand!
