Defeat at Parkhead caused Celtic to fall 3 points behind at the top of the SPL, with a game in hand. Rangers keeper Wattereus had a stormer of a game,making excellent saves from Hartson and Bellamy to keep a clean sheet. Rangers' goals came from Vignal (though Rab Douglas was somewhat at fault for that), and Novo.
It was Celtic's first OF loss in eleven games, and McLeish's first win at Parkhead.
