Celtic provided the opposition for Ian McAllister's Testimonial with Ayr Utd in 1990. Ian McAllister was a one-club player - he started and finished his professional football career with Ayr Utd and was one of the first group of three players indicted into the Ayr United Hall of Fame.
There are a few discrepancies in the records over the date of this Testimonial, not helped by the fact that the match programme was pre-printed and has 6th March 1990 as the date on the cover. The correct date is 26th November 1990.
