Key: Additions Deletions
We'd already beaten them 2-1 at Ibrox, so this levelled the section on points but they won it on goal difference. Unfortunately for Rangers, the top 2 qualified. We later knocked them out 3-1 on a wild, windswept night at Hampden. There was a no-offside outside the 18-yard line experiment that year (with lines extended from the edge of the area to the shy-lines), and Harry Hood scored a hat trick (still, I think, the last OF hat trick by a Celtic player). Should have had 4, he got a perfectly good goal chalked off for...offside!
