Review

There was a tremendous crowd present when Ardwick commenced operations. It was pretty evident wfrom the start that the home players were no match for the visitors. The passing of the Celtic was most superb, and McMahon easily notched ther first goal. When the interval was taken the visitors were leading by three goals to nil.
The second half was a repetition of the first.
Result - Celtic, five goals; Ardwick, nil.
