Celtic v Johnstone – This match took place at Celtic Park, Glasgow, last night, in presence of a fair turnout of spectators. M’Mahon figured in the Celtic team, with Blessington, Dunbar, and Dowds. Johnstone scored in the first few minutes, and led at half-time by one goal to nil. The Celts pressed hard, but could not score, Towards the middle of the second half the home team equalised and M’Mahon gave them the lead. Just on time Johnstone again scored. A good game thus ended in a draw of two goals each.
