The football season at Greenock was opened last night, when the Celtic met the Morton at Cappielow before about four thousand spectators. The Celtic were the first to score, the Morton equalising a few minutes afterwards, and gaining a second point from the foot of Watt shortly thereafter. In the second half, after five minutes' play, the Celts equalised, and securing other three goals won by five to two.
