Celtic v Clyde – On Celtic park, a good turnout of spectators. Clyde kicked oof, and at once assumed the aggressive, the Celtic being kept busy clearing, and seemingly not getting settled down. In fifteen minutes the Clyde opened the scoring. The Celtic warmed up after this, the Clyde custodian having to clear several times. The Clyde were much smarter on the ball than the Celtic, and succeeded on putting on another goal. Foran scored for the Celtic. Half-time result :- Clyde, two goals; Celtic, one goal. The second half was started by the Celtic in splendid style, but luck seemed tobe against them, the ball going everywhere but through. Great excitement was shown by the spectators. The Clyde gradually worked their way out, and from a foul near the Celtic posts scored their third goal. Play continued very exciting to the finish, but no scoring took place. Result Clyde, three goals; Celtic, one.
